PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect an evaluation in a transaction market onto a compensation price for a producer by a method wherein the influence of a black spot disease is adopted for a class sorting operation in the sorting and classifying operation of an orange.;SOLUTION: A plurality of flaw images existing in an image which images the orange 1 are sensed individually. The individual areas of the flaw images are compared with the area threshold value (0 to 2) of very small flaws which are decided in advance. According to the amount of the total area and/or the total number of pieces of flaw groups which are identified as the very small flaws, the class of the corresponding agricultural produce is lowered to a low class.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
