PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition excellent in moldability and capable of being molded into an engine cover reduced in weight, hanving high rigidity and high heat resistance, and having impact resistance as well, especially having excellent impact resistance at a low temperature, and to provide the engine cover produced by using the composition.;SOLUTION: This polyamide resin composition for the engine cover contains at least two kinds of polyamide resins having relative viscosities different from each other and a swelling lamellar silicate salt, wherein a mixture of the polyamide resins contained therein has a relative viscosity of ≥2.6.
