PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body-fluid measuring apparatus which can enhance an ease of use by more simplifying operations required for patients, can enhance a reliability on measurements by reducing a necessary quantity of test bodies and consequently obtain a low invasion performance. ;SOLUTION: A body-fluid measuring apparatus 10 has an insertion body 30 which is inserted to a body 20 when used. The insertion body 30 is provided with a cylindrical sheath body 35 inserted to the body 20 at a base part thereof, and a movable body 31. The sheath body has an electrode 36 with an open leading end having a reaction reagent adhered to an inner face. The movable body has a piercing body 32 set to a leading end. The piercing body can move back and forth in an axis direction inside the sheath body 35 and serves also as an electrode. The body 20 has a terminal to be electrically conductive to each electrode of the insertion boy 30, an electronic circuit for determining a measurement value on the basis of an electric signal obtained from the terminal, and a driving mechanism 40 for moving the movable body 31 forth, thereby projecting the piercing body 32 at the leading end from a leading end of the sheath body 35.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
