PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free chlorine remover which keeps the effect of decomposing and removing residual chlorine over a long period of time even when used under an environment where water is continuously made to flow, a free chlorine removing method using the free chlorine remover, and a manufacturing method of the free chlorine remover.;SOLUTION: The free chlorine remover contains, as an effective component, an ion-exchange product obtained by using at least one of the multiple carbonate of magnesium and aluminium and the multiple oxide of magnesium and aluminium obtained by calcining the multiple carbonate as an ion-exchanger and ion-exchanging an ion exchange group that the ion-exchanger has by ascorbic acid ions or sulfurous acid ions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
