PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel interpolating method of interpolating to more suitably reproduce data of lost pixels of an image sensor, a pixel interpolator, and an image processor having such pixel interpolator. PSOLUTION: A pixel interpolating unit 4 interpolates image data of lost pixels of a one-dimensional image sensor 1 using a plurality of pixel data at both sides of the lost pixel. This more suitably interpolates the image data of the lost pixels, even if density peaks appear at positions facing the lost pixels. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
