MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CAST-COATED PAPER, COATING LIQUID FOR UNDERLAYER AND INKJET CAST-COATED PAPER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an inkjet cast-coated paper, which is excellent in ink absorbency, surface gloss and image quality and in which no microcrack develops.;SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the cast-coated paper, an upperlayer is coated on an underlayer formed by a coating liquid including at least a pigment, a binder and polyhydric alcohols on a support and, while being under a moist state, brought into a pressingly contact with a heated solid mirror-finished surface so as to give gloss to the surface of the coated layer. Further, the coating liquid for an underlayer used for the manufacturing method and the obtained inkjet cast-coated paper are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
