PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for easily generating and analyzing a complicated three-dimensional topographic model such as an over-hung model. ;SOLUTION: The system of the invention cuts the over-hung part of contour data, rotates contour data of the part, searches a rotary angle without over-hanging, rotating and converting the contour data on X, Y and Z axes by the angle and generates the three-dimensional model by the converted contour data. The generated three-dimensional model is reversely rotated and converted to an original position. Then the three-dimensional model is accomplished and adhered onto the three-dimensional model generated from contour data which are left after cutting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
