PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of the harmful material such as NOx contained in the exhaust gas or in the gas immediately after being discharged from an engine, independently of a possibility of realizing catalyzer warm-up in a short time. PSOLUTION: In a hybrid type power output device including a motor generator device, control is performed to start an increase in the quantity of the air to be fed to a combustion chamber (figure (b)) after a certain period passed after starting a processing for delaying ignition timing in an ignition plug in comparison with the ignition timing in the latest condition (figure (a)).
