PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job assignment method for a grid system, and a grid mediation apparatus and program that can shorten time to return results upon a request from a service user.;SOLUTION: A grid mediation server 1 preliminarily distributes reference data to resource computers A to C (S-4) to hold them therein (S-5) and stores the reference data distributed to each resource computer in a management database 1-1 in association with a data type ID (S-6), and when receiving a request for comparative analysis processing together with analysis data and a reference data type ID from a service user terminal 3 (S-7), refers to the management database 1-1 to select the resource computers that have the reference data matching the reference data type ID (S-8) and sends the analysis data X to request comparative analysis computations (S-9).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
