PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door-closing hinge which can smoothly carry out door- opening operation and door-closing operation.;SOLUTION: The automatic door-closing hinge is constructed in the following manner. First, a cylindrical body is housed in a cylinder of one of a pair of blades, and then directly or indirectly engaged with an almost lower location of an operating rod which has its almost upper portion fixed to the other blade. Then, rotation of the other blade is interlocked with vertical motion of the cylindrical body via the operating rod, and a spring is arranged in the cylinder which is compressed by elevation of the cylindrical body at the time of opening the door. Further, the other blade is rotated in a door closing direction in synchronization with lowering of the cylindrical body due to restoring force of the spring. According to the door-closing hinge thus constructed, an engaging portion arranged in the cylindrical body at a location below the operating rod is directly or indirectly engaged with the cylindrical body, and when the cylindrical body is elevated up to a predetermined height, the cylindrical body is released from engagement with the engaging portion to terminate elevation thereof. By engaging the cylindrical body at the predetermined height with the engaging portion, the cylindrical body starts lowering due to the restoring force of the spring.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
