The actuator has a jack connected to a casement of an aircraft through one end of the jack and to a casing through other end of the jack. A tire assembly includes a pressure gas cylinder (1) to actuate the jack. The cylinder includes a filler plug (10) associated to an envelope body (2) and a punctable membrane (10') transversely welded on an inner surface of the plug. A manual/electric or pyrotechnic/thermal punctable device provides subsequent punctures to the membrane to trigger the actuator. The cylinder is closed by a solder (36) between the plug and the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling and closing of a pressure gas cylinder of an actuator.
