FLOW PASSAGE SHUTTING-OFF METHOD FOR FLUID PIPING SYSTEM AND PIPE FLOW PASSAGE SHUTTING-OFF DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, securely, and easily perform flow passage shutting-off work between joint faces of both connection flange parts by reduced labor while suppressing leakage of fluid in a pipe and to adjust clearance dimension between both connection flange parts into a condition for achieving the highest shutting-off workability in accordance with various conditions.;SOLUTION: A shutting-off work case B provided with a tightening operation means E capable of sealing and surrounding the whole both connection flange parts 2A, 3A to operate a tightening device 5 by loosening it from the outside and a partitioning plate valve 8 being inserted, pulled out, and operated freely through between joint faces of both connection flange parts 2A, 3A is mounted over both pipe parts 2, 3 tightened by the tightening device 5 and connected while a sealing material is provided between the joint faces of both connection flange parts 2A, 3A. After loosening and operating the tightening device 5 from the outside by the tightening operation means E, the partitioning plate valve 8 is inserted up to a flow passage shutting-off position through a clearance between both connection flange parts 2A and 3A caused by loosening operation of the tightening device 5 to shut off a flow passage between both connection flange parts 2A and 3A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
