PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a schedule organization system provided with automatic reminder mechanism of an electronic calendar and also the annotation convenience of a free format for a paper-base system. ;SOLUTION: A user inputs appointments included in a schedule on a paper calendar into a computer system 100 via a scanner/facsimile machine 30. The machine 30 communicates with the system 100 via a communication medium 35. The system 100 generates an alert (alarm) in the format of a reminder message. The reminder message is transmitted at a time shown on the calendar page 10, based on an annotation on the page 10. In the case of showing a message on a display 185, a free format input 22 is reproduced on the display 185.
