PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a synthetic resin foam having excellent heat insulating properties and mechanical strength, where a foaming agent having good compatibility with raw materials of the foam, flame retardancy, a moderate boiling point and no risk of ozone layer depletion is used.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing a foam of polyurethane or polyisocyanurate by reacting a polyol and a polyisocyanate compound in the presence of a foaming agent, as the foaming agent, a mixture comprising 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane and a glycol-based compound and/or an amide-based compound, is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
