PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillometric automatic blood pressure measuring apparatus by which sufficient accuracy of blood pressure measurement can be obtained even when a time required for blood pressure measurement is shortened. Because a convex curve with a pair of inflection points and an upper peak point positioned therebetween exists in the curve and is common with the envelope of the cuff pulse wave series with a pair of the inflection points and the upper peak point positioned therebetween, even from a comparatively small number of amplitude values, the maximum amplitude point of the cuff pulse wave series to be the base of determining the highest blood pressure value SBP and the lowest blood pressure value DBP can be comparatively accurately determined.
