PSOLUTION: The utility pole advertising management system comprises an IC tag storing a utility pole management number identifying a utility pole 120 and attached to the utility pole 120, an IC tag storing an advertisement management number identifying an advertisement placed on the utility pole 120 and attached to the advertisement, a reading terminal 3 for reading and sending to a network 110 the utility pole management number and advertisement management number from the respective IC tags, and a center system 4 for registering the advertisement management number in advance in association with the utility pole management number, and when receiving the utility pole management number and advertisement management number from the reading terminal 3 via the network 110, matching the numbers against the two management numbers registered in advance to determine whether there is a lost advertisement.
