PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FFT operation device that performs a real FFT operation on extremely much data in real time with the use of a cache memory.;SOLUTION: The cache memory 13 stores part of data subject to a real FFT operation. An FFT operation part 10 performs the real FFT operation on the data stored in the cache memory 13. The FFT operation part 10 performs at least one data transfer after any one of a plurality of stages of butterfly operation to read in the cache memory 13 data necessary for the subsequent butterfly operation of the plurality of stages of butterfly operation and for a butterfly operation for producing transform results, performs the subsequent butterfly operation with the data read in, and then performs the butterfly operation for producing transform results directly with the data stored in the cache memory 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
