PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, method and device for controlling the generation of musical sound, an operating terminal, a musical sound generation control program and a recording medium with the program recorded thereon, by which a user can get operating touches and can get the satisfactory feeling of positively taking part in playing or reproducing.;SOLUTION: The musical sound generation control system 100 provided with a musical sound generator 4 and a plurality of operating terminals 5 is constructed. Each of operating terminals 5 is provided with a vibrating unit UT for generating vibration on the basis of a driving signal transmitted from the musical sound generator 4 to the relevant operating terminal 5. When an operator carrying the operating terminal 5 acts, kinetic information corresponding to the action is transmitted to the musical sound generator 4. On the basis of the kinetic information, the musical sound generator 4 determines a play parameter, generates musical sounds corresponding to the determined play parameter, generates a driving signal corresponding to the play parameter and transmits it to the operating terminal 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
