PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick and accurate preparation method of standard data of an inclusion or the like in a metal sample and a standard sample therefor.;SOLUTION: This standard sample of the inclusion or the like in the metal sample for spark discharge emission analysis is prepared by distributing a sample of a prescribed non-metal inclusion and/or a deposit (hereafter referred to as 'inclusion or the like' simply in a lump) on the surface of a metal base material, and covering thereon with metal foils.
