PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-coated cemented carbide alloy solid tooth cutting tool with a hard coating layer achieving excellent abrasion resistance in high speed tooth cutting work.;SOLUTION: In this surface-coated cemented carbide alloy solid tooth cutting tool, the hard coating layer comprising composite nitride of Al and Ti is physically deposited in a total average layer thickness of 1-15 μm on the surface of base material comprising a tungsten carbide-based cemented carbide alloy tooth cutting tool main body. The hard coating layer is composed to have a component concentration distribution structure in which Al-highest inclusion points (Ti-lowest inclusion points) and Al-lowest inclusion points (Ti-highest inclusion points) exist alternately and repeatedly at a prescribed interval, and in which inclusion of Al (Ti) is continuously varied from the Al-highest inclusion point to the Al-lowest inclusion point, and from the Al-lowest inclusion point to the Al-highest inclusion point. The Al-highest inclusion points satisfy a formula of (AlXTi1-X)N (X is 0.70-0.95 in atomic ratio), and the Al-lowers inclusion points satisfy formula of (AlYTi1-Y)N (Y is 0.40-0.65 in atomic ratio).
