PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure accurately orientation (an orientation angle and the degree of orientation) even for a sample having comparatively small anistropy.;SOLUTION: A resonance frequency of each dielectric resonator is measured in the state where nothing is placed on a measuring head equipped with a plurality of dielectric resonators to thereby determine a blank-time resonance frequency, and then a substantially non-oriented standard sample covering at least measuring surfaces of all the dielectric resonators is placed on the measuring head, and the resonance frequency of each dielectric resonator is measured. The standard sample shift quantities are calculated from the difference of the determined resonance frequency of each dielectric resonator, and the determined standard sample shift quantities of each dielectric resonator are averaged, and the determined mean value and the standard shift quantity of each dielectric resonator are operated, to thereby determine correction coefficients of each dielectric resonator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
