PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screwed type steel pipe pile with low-vibration and low-noise characteristics, capable of obtaining large tip-supporting force, allowing non-earth- removal construction to be performed even in the case of the screwed type steel pipe pile having a large diameter, easily drive a solidifying material such as concrete, etc., because the steel pipe pile is penetrated in a rotated manner for earth and sand not to enter a diameter-enlarged part, and obtain rigidity capable of accommodating to horizontal force and bending moment generated in a pile head part by means of the diameter-enlarged pile head part and the solidifying material driven thereinto such as concrete and others. ;SOLUTION: The screwed type steel pipe pile is provided with a lower steel pipe 2 having a blade 10 at least at its end part or in the proximity thereof and an upper steel pipe 3 with a larger diameter than the steel pipe 2, having a steel plate 4 the center of which is fitted with an opening 4b where the steel pipe 2 is inserted. The steel pipe 3 is penetrated into the upper outer periphery of the steel pipe 2 penetrated in the ground for a part of the steel pipe 2 to be protruded within the steel pipe 3.
