PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for spinning a polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber which is stable in continuous spinning performance and has appearance quality suitable for false-twisting processing, combinedly conjugating processing, etc., by setting a spinning temperature and a residence time to a suitable range, so as to improve defects of conventional spinning processes of the polytrimethylene terephthalate.;SOLUTION: This method for spinning the polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber comprises spinning a polyester comprising the polytrimethylene terephthalate in which 80 mol% or more of repeating units are composed of polytrimethylene terephthalate units, wherein the spinning temperature (X; °C) and the residence time (Y; min) of the polyester in the spinning machine are set to satisfy the following inequalities: 181.8-0.689X≤Y≤230.3-0.791X; and 255≤X≤280.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
