PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily see explanatory information guide parts of respective drawing-out lines and the whole explanatory information described there. ;SOLUTION: This automatic generating method calculates the overall length S corresponding to the addition value of the lengths of the explanatory guide parts of respective drawing-out lines belonging to an arbitrary range (line plan, etc.), on a plan (road current state plan, etc.), wherein a road line 2, facility lines 3 to 5, and the drawing-out lines 6 to 8 consisting of drawing-out line parts 6c to 8c from the facility lines and the explanatory information guide parts 6d to 8d following them and automatically sets the explanatory information guide parts 6d to 8d in one or more stages laterally without overlapping on the basis of the overall length S and the large/small relation with the reference length L of a drawing-out line set area.
