PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester false twisting yarn having dry, soft and bulky touch feelings and capable of giving natural-like surface unevenness of yarn thickness and dyed color, to provide a method for producing the yarn, and to provide woven and knitted fabrics thereof.;SOLUTION: This polyester false twisting yarn has SZ alternately twisted structure composed of an untwisted part A, an over-untwisted part B and a twist direction-converting part C which exists in the intermediate between the part A and the B, and fused part having ≥5% fusing ratio exists in the above parts A and B and the part C is composed of mixture of untwisted part, over- untwisted part and opening part or only opening part and thick spot (U%) in longitudinal direction of the above false twisting yarn is ≥3%. This method for producing the polyester false twisting yarn comprises carrying out simultaneous drawing and false-twisting of highly oriented undrawn yarn of polyester at ≥(melting point-40o≤) and ≤(melting point-10°C) while irregularly changing false twist number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
