PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controlled universal head controller capable of accurately and quickly recognizing the contents of a shot by providing a television camera for confirming the shot, besides a television camera for photographing and displaying the real time image of each set shot. SOLUTION: A camera for confirming 18 is provided besides a camera for photographing 12 mounted on the remote controlled universal head 14, and a video for covering the whole area of the photographing possible range 16 of the camera for photographing 12 is acquired by the camera for confirming 18. Besides, a computer main body 22 calculates coordinates at four corners for prescribing the frame of the shot, based on data (shot data) on respective parameters for panning, tilting, zooming and focusing, which are for prescribing a specific photographing position (shot). An image processor 20 extracts the image of a frame part corresponding to the shot, from the video captured by the camera 18, to display the image on the screen of a display 24 as moving image information, based on the results of the calculation.
