PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method and a system for QoS guarantee which relates to a distribution system for streaming contents etc., and have high versatility and economical efficiency.;SOLUTION: The QoS guarantee system in a CDN by SIP session control with IP network has a terminal device 21 which makes a request for viewing and listening of contents, a content distribution subsystem 51 for distributing the contents, an SIP session control subsystem 31 for performing SIP session establishment control, and a band control subsystem 41 for performing band control. If the terminal device requires the content distribution subsystem to establish a session, the SIP session control subsystem acquires information on a band necessary for the viewing and listening of the contents from the content distribution subsystem, and makes a request to the band control subsystem for reservation of the band of the band value contained in the band information, and the contents are transmitted from the content distribution subsystem to the terminal device by the band secured by the band control subsystem.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
