PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the power for circulation of a nitrification liquid unnecessary and to increase the nitrification rate.;SOLUTION: The method has the following features. First, organic waste water as the raw water (a) is successively treated in an oxidation tank 21, nitrification tank 22, denitrification tank 23 and re-aeration tank 24 and then settled in a solid liquid separation tank 26 to obtain the treated water (d). Second, the oxidation tank 21, denitrification tank 23 and re-aeration tank 24 are charged with a common carrier with deposition of microorganisms by about 10 v/v% in the liquid in the tanks. The carrier drained from the re- aeration tank 24 is sent back to the denitrification tank 23 and moved with the movement of the liquid in the tanks in the order of the oxidation tank 21, denitrification tank 23 and re-aeration tank 24 to be used while circulating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
