PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea leaf plucker having a constitution capable of omitting the labor of a plucking operation and carrying out an efficient plucking operation by reducing the number of times of movements to a plucking beginning position for changing bags to house plucked tea leaves. ;SOLUTION: In this tea leaf plucker equipped with a reaping blade 44 capable of bestriding a tea plant ridge and plucking tea leaves and with a constitution of housing the tea leaves plucked by the reaping blade 44 in a bag positioned behind the reaping blade, the plucker is equipped with tea leaf housing bags F1 and F2 at the rear part of the reaping blade at a right and a left and a top and a bottom steps with the central position of reaping width by the reaping blade 44 at the rear part of the reaping blade. The tea leaf housing bags F1 and F2 positioned at the top and the bottom steps are constituted to select the top step (F2 side) and the bottom step (F1 side) corresponding to a movement distance between which tea leaves can be plucked on a preset tea plant ridge and an opening is opposed to the rear of the reaping blade.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
