PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for supplying driving power to a media converter for converting an interface of an electric communication device into an interface of an optical communication device.;SOLUTION: The power supply device is constituted so as to include a power supply device which is separated from the media converter and individually constituted, and at least one set of power supply socket device for supplying power to the media converter from the power supply device.
