The disk multiplexing mechanism which multiplexes the fault tolerant computer and its disk management

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk management mechanism allowing an end user to easily perform setting of disk multiplexing/an operation for restoring without requiring special technical knowledge when a fault such as a trouble in a storage device occurs in a fault tolerant computer. PSOLUTION: This fault tolerant computer 10 is provided with a disk multiplexing mechanism 40 multiplexing a plurality of storage devices 21 and 22 and access path multiplexing mechanisms 31 and 32 setting a plurality of access pathes and multiplexing the plurality of storage devices. This computer is provided with a disk management mechanism 50, when some fault such as the trouble in the storage device occurs, inputting physical position information of the storage device and the operation contents to the storage device and instructing a restoration operation including isolating and incorporating operation of the storage device to the disk multiplexing mechanism 40.
