PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection type oil water heater improved in durability of, especially, a burning means in the case of connecting a plurality of oil water heaters and applying the control of the number of equipment.;SOLUTION: In this oil water heater, one of a plurality of oil water heaters is assigned as a main (M) water heater for the first combustion, and other following water heaters are assigned as target (T) water heaters for combustion in order, and this assignment is changed per twenty-four hours. The oil water heaters except the M water heater are prohibited from ON/OFF combustion to improve durability, and the only M water heater is allowed for ON/OFF combustion to enable the combustion even if the required number for operation is small. In the range of six or less in combustion requirement scale, the combustion output is adjusted by ON/OFF combustion of the M water heater, and in the range more than six, the number of output is adjusted by proportional combustion. When increased to eighteen, the proportional combustion control rate of the M water heater is reduced down to the proportional combustion control rate of ten, and on, the T water heaters start the proportional combustion from eight to smoothly transfer the combustion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
