PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the oil quantity in an actuator of a movable part of a drilling machine from a truck side with excellent accuracy. ;SOLUTION: In a drilling machine, the operation quantity of a movable part such as each articulate part and a slide part of a guide shell and a boom equipped with a rock drill, is obtained by the oil quantity in a hydraulic cylinder C, and the automatic positioning and position indication are achieved based on the data of the operation quantity. The drilling machine is provided with an oil quantity sensor 31 to detect the oil quantity of an operation conduit 10 of the hydraulic cylinder C, a pusher 34 which is a means to detect the stroke end reach of the hydraulic cylinder C, a push valve 35, a pressure switch 37, and a controller 33 to correct the error in oil quantity based on the detected signal of a stroke end detecting means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
