PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an exhaust muffler for a vehicle capable of greatly reducing the manufacturing man-hour, and its manufacturing apparatus by providing a manufacturing process comprising a shell forming process, a flare forming process and a welding process. ;SOLUTION: A manufacturing process in which a first mandrel die and a second mandrel die are respectively advanced to the position in contact with baffle plates 4, 4 to hold a content sub assembly A', and then, respectively retracted to discharge a muffler intermediate product A, is a three-process execution manufacturing process comprising three processes of a shell forming process, a flare forming process and a welding process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
