PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat-resistant member provided with a coating layer excellent in resistance to oxidation and corrosion even at a high temp. instead of an MCrAlY alloy layer. ;SOLUTION: An Ir-Al-Ni alloy metallic layer 103 is formed on the substrate 101 of an Ni-base superalloy single crystal. The metallic layer 103 consists of, by weight, 8-24% Al, 19-58% Ni and the balance Ir with inevitable impurities, and the thickness is controlled to 0.5-300m. Further, a TBC layer 104 of a ZrO2-base columnar ceramic is formed on the metallic layer 103. The TBC layer 104 consists essentially of ZrO2 and contains at least one among Y2O3, MgO and CaO, and the thickness is controlled to 20-600m.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
