PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover delays at an early stage, to reduce energy consumption, and to prevent the degradation of passengers' comfort in riding on a train by predicting the behavior of a preceding train, in a train group control system.;SOLUTION: By making each train receive various kinds of information on the preceding train from a ground control device, a target run curve of the preceding train is predicted. The target run curve of a self-train is corrected so as not to approach too close to the preceding train. Each train runs based on this corrected run curve.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
