The device is used in operative oceanography for environment and population protection from calamities, in particular for early warning of tsunamis danger. It represents a system of pressure transducers (9), seawater temperature pick-ups (6), seawater salinity transducers (7), and a seismic sensor (5Æ), all they being arranged in the interior of a body (1) catching the natural underwater springs,as well as a sea level transducer and a seismic sensor (5) positioned on a block at the sea bottom. The signals from the above sensing devices are fed to a coast registration station (20) through a disconnecting box (8) of a cable hose (11), the caught gas being fed along the hose to the coast, where the hose is provided with a valve (13), a one-way valve (14), a pressure transducer (15) a flow meter with an electronic terminal, and still another valve whose output (22) is connected to a respective reservoir (gasholder). The signals from the transducers (5, 5Æ, 6, 7 and 9) and those from the pressure transducer (15), the flow meter and the underground-water level gauge (23) are fed along the respective cable cores to the measuring and commutating unit (16) connected to an analogue-to-digital converter (17), the output of the latter being connected to the input of a computer (18) controlled by an input-output unit (19). In case of registration of increased gas flow and pressure, changes in the underground-water level, higher sea level, or a pick from the seismic sensors, a signal is given which, through coordination and correlation with the signals received in the national seismological network, warns of underwater earthquakes or tsunamis danger.
