"The process of ethanol production from raw material to alpha amylase; recombinant strain of S. cerevisiae inoculant and its use.The invention deals with a process for ethanol production from raw material to alpha amylase as well as the recombinant strain of S.Cerevisiae inoculant and its use in the production of ethanol from starchy substrates.The invention can be used in plants in general, particularly those using cassava as raw material, or those of mixed nature, i.e.Using sugar cane as raw material for harvest of sugar cane and raw material for the intersafra alpha amylase.With the increase of the demand for ethanol as an additive or complete substitute for gasoline, there is the need to find alternative sources for their production.In this work, we propose a process for ethanol production from starch substrates using a recombinant strain of S. cerevisiae producer of enzymes 244 - amylase and glicoamilase.This process is characterized by simultaneous saccharification and fermentation of starch substrates without pre-treatment with amylolytic enzymes.
