a) a solid fuel combustor for burning solid fuel b) a thermosyphon unit housed within the solid fuel combustor and having a heat exchanger with fluid supply connections c) a vapour absorption unit connected to said heat exchanger in said thermosyphon and held at a level above said thermosyphon d) a return pipe unit connecting said vapour absorption machin and said exchanger for transfer of the heat depleted heat exchange fluid of the said heat exchanger from the vapour absorption machine to the heat exchanger, and e) an exhaust gas processing unit and attached to the solid fuel combustor.
