: The invention disclosed in this application relates to a product used in sericulture industry for the management of silkworm diseases. This has disinfectant properties when applied in the silkworm rearing bed at a dose of 4 kgs/100 dfls. The major advantage of this bed disinfectant is that it has broad spectrum of activity against viral, bacterial and fungal diseases of silkworm, Bombyx mori. L. Moreover, it is cost effective and performs well under all seasons.
