The present invention relates to intraocular lenses (IOLs) and, in particular, to intraocular lenses adapted for better and secured disposition with respect to the posterior capsule of the capsular bag after implantation for maximum contact between the intraocular lens and posterior capsule avoiding free space or cells there under in the capsular bag and facilitate the prevention of complications such as the Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO) resulting from implanting of intraocular lens.
