A system for use with blister packing machine for on-line detection of missing, broken and chipped tablets in a blister pack comprising CCD Camera to detect said missing, broken and chipped tablets by capturing images of said filled blister packs, means for processing of capture images and generating signals as and when any defect is identified for on-line detection and rectification and/or removal of the defective pack. The system as directed to provide blister packing reliable and cost effective and the same time is simple and easy to operate.
