The invention refers to biotechnology and may be used for gerbera micropropagation in vitro.The process for gerbera micropropagation in vitro includes cultivation of explants of the axile shoots obtained from growth apexes, on the Muraschige-Skoog nutrient medium, with additive of thiamine-HCl, nicotinic acid, pyridoxine-HCl, kinetin and benzyl adenine.Novelty of the process consists in that into the nutrient medium there is additionally added gibberellic acid, the components being added in the medium in the following ratio, mg/L: thiamine-HCl - 0,1; nicotinic acid - 0,5; pyridoxine-HCl - 0,5; kinetin - 0,3; benzyl adenine - 1,0; gibberellic acid - 1,0.
