The device has a control device operationally connected to the flow via adjustment unit and a requesting unit e.g. time switch or sensors. The sensors are operationally connected to the control device for making a request to the control device for air in one of the zones. The requesting unit makes a request to the control device for additional air in the zone. The control device in response to the request activates one or more of the flow through adjustment units to adjust the ventilation flows in the zones in order to meet the request. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for ventilating a building, particularly a residence, by a ventilation device for balanced ventilation (2) a control, suitable and intended for a ventilation device.
