The space (6a) in the frame section (1) used to form the ventilation passage (6) is L-shaped. A second part (3) of the frame section extends parallel to the pane support surface (4) in a first part (2) of the frame section over a distance equal to or beyond the extension of the first part. The space extends in the frame section length direction. An independent claim is also included for a profile acting as the first part of the frame section and used to position a pane in a window frame section, having an L-shaped cross-section corresponding to that of the space used to form the ventilation passage.
