The device comprises a cart with an extendible cutting section (1) in front and a collection and mixing vessel (4) at the back. Silage is supplied from the cutting section to the vessel via a conveyor belt (3). The cart runs along tracks in the floor between the different unloading locations and stalls. The device is fully automatic.
