The invention relates to a process for obtaining Mg-Nd hardening alloys by electrochemical co-deposion of the Nd and Mg into a bath of melted fluorides whereto the Nd and Mg carbonates are added. The working temperature is of 825-875A C, the anode current density of 0,3-0,45 A/cm2 and the cathode density of 3,5-3,9 A/cm2. The electrochemical cell is provided with a crucible (8) made up of silicon oxynitride, a superdense graphite anode (6) and a cathode (10) made up of metal molybdenum.
