METHOD FOR ESTIMATING CROWN SIZE FOR ANTERIOR UPPER TEETH

The method for estimating the crown size for the anterior upper teeth comprises the linear measurements of the anthropometric parameters and the calculation of the variants for the heights of central and lateral incisors. Mesiodistal diameters of the central and lateral incisors and canines are found, the values are then averaged for left and right sides of the jaws. The sex determinism coefficients are used for calculations with their values for central, lateral incisors and canines equal 1.07, 1.14, 1.12 for men and 1.04, 1.12, 1.09 for women, correspondingly. The heights of the crowns are calculated by multiplying the averaged parameters of teeth by the corresponding sex determinism coefficients.
