METHOD FOR GENERATING STUMP OF FOOT IN DIABETIC GANGRENE

The method for generating the stump of the foot in diabetic gangrene comprises the foot amputation at the level of art. tarsometatarsae and art. tarsitransversa. In the case of the pyo-necrotic lesion up to the tarsus, first the transtarsal amputation of the foot is performed followed by reamputation in art. tarsometatarsae and art. tarsi transversa. Then the stump of the foot is generated with autodermoplasty onto the granulation surface. In the case of the spread of the lesion up to the ankle joint with the involvement of the shank, first the amputation of the foot is performed at the level of the tarsus, then reamputation in the art. tarsi transversa is performed and the stump is generated with autodermoplasty onto the granulation surface.
