An electrical glass-melting furnace for melting rocks of basalt type, lower wall of which has a projection entering the cavity of combustion space with gap from upper wall. The projection has vertical through orifice, connecting the cavity of combustion space to the environment, and electrodes are disposed in the lower wall. Lower parts of electrodes passing to the environment are connected to the source of electric current with a possibility of electrical current passing between them, and on the projection a ??-like electricity conducting, thermally and chemically resistant in the basalt melt plate is mounted, turned by its lateral walls towards surfaces of electrodes, and having through vertical orifices in the horizontal plane for connection of combustion space to vertical through orifice.
